About Red Sky

Community of young adults

The name Red Sky is taken from Matthew 16 verses 2 and 3 which says:  "When evening comes, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,' and in the morning, 'Today it will be stormy and overcast.'  You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times."

As a generation of young adults we must be able to interpret our times correctly.  The best and fastest way to do that is to be rightly related to the Creator.  To see Him for who He really is, and to be transformed by His Presence.

Red Sky is a community of young adults who have gathered together specifically to find the best of transformation through the best of community so that we can all live the life of abundance intended for us.

Dreams

We all have ambitions.  The deep, undeniable longings in our heart. To  be something important.  To be significant.  To make a difference.  It looks different for each of us.  But we all are longing to live something better.

Failures

OK, let's be honest.  We have all made mistakes.  We have let other people down.  We have let ourselves down. We have pain because of it.  In varying degrees we all carry shame.  But not all of it was our fault.  Some was, but not everything.

Fears

Have you heard it said, 'Perfect love drives out fear'?  It's true.  But where can we find that kind of love that makes us courageous, and bold?  It is possible to live courageously.  It takes the right kind of community.  A  One Another community.

The Fight

Life is a battle.  Some days better than others. Do you have a community that will fight with you; and for you?  We will.  It's how we live.

David M.

Tim has been a Father and a friend to both my wife and myself as we ride on this beautiful roller coaster called life. The one thing that has marked his life in my eyes is his commitment in friendship, prayer and unselfishness in his willingness to give of himself as he fights to see Jesus formed in us!

Rose D.

Tim has really placed a fire under me to run after the things that the Lord has put on my heart and chase the things that I desired to do for a long time but have fearful to start.  I feel like through his leadership and mentorship I’ve found a friend and a father who cares for me and really champions my future, my present.  I feel really grateful because I know that no matter where I am he is someone that is fighting for me in prayer and is always open and willing to speak to my heart in the things that I need to hear.  Even his mentorship has lead to greater accountability to not relent from the hard things.

Micah B.

For the last 10 years Tim has walked closely me with through every season of my life. His friendship, encouragement, and guidance have encouraged me to trust more deeply in God’s goodness and to put that understanding into action. But the greatest impact came not simply from what he taught me, it came from watching him apply those truths into his own life.  Tim has been with Jesus and that richness spilled into each conversation we had. I am so thankful for his impact on my life.
